Through Ministerial Agreement 109 dated October 19, 2020, the Ministry of Agriculture issues regulations for the import, cultivation, harvest, storage, transportation, processing, commercialization, and export of non-psychoactive Cannabis or hemp and industrial hemp.
In February 2021, ARCSA issues the Technical Health Regulation (NTS) for the regulation and control of products for human use and consumption containing non-psychoactive cannabis or hemp and its derivatives.
Products containing a THC concentration equal to or higher than 1% will be regulated as controlled medicines and subject to the prohibitions established by law.
